About

Every state lists its own park closures, in its own format. This site gathers the official notices from New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria into one page per park, so you can see what's listed before a trip.

We copy the notices word for word and link each one to the agency's own page. We don't add our own view of the risk. We never say a park is open: a park with nothing listed can still be closed, flooded or burning.

What the statuses mean

Closed
The agency lists a closure of the whole park.
Some areas closed
The agency lists a closure of part of the park: a track, road, campground or area. Closures of the whole park that only apply at night count here too. Each park's page says how many closures are listed, and the notices say what's affected. It doesn't mean opening hours: the agencies' alerts don't include those.
No closure listed
We read the agency's alerts recently and it lists no closure. It may list other alerts, such as fire, pest control or works. This isn't a promise the park is safe or accessible.
Can't confirm
We haven't been able to read the agency's alerts lately, so we can't say what's listed now.
We don't track this park
No source we read covers it. Where we do hold a closure for it, we still show that.

Closures that haven't started yet are shown under "Coming up" and don't change the status. We check New South Wales every 15 minutes, and Queensland and Victoria every 30 minutes.
